DeCoursey has been a filmmaker and activist in Wilmington for decades. Her work highlighting the racial reconciliation efforts of the 1898 Centennial Foundation, the injustices suffered by the Wilmington Ten, and the work of women filmmakers in the Lower Cape Fear provides an important chronicle of Wilmington history over the last several decades. Join us as we discuss her work highlighting the strength and resilience of those who suffered injustices in the wake of the racial violence of February 1971.
