Thursday Evenings with the Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives and History

Every year since its inception in 1948, the Azalea Festival has drawn thousands of visitors to the Port City in early April to enjoy Wilmington’s natural beauty and amenities. Join Prof. Mulrooney, Senior Associate Vice Provost for Academic Programs and Equity at James Madison University, and the Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives and History at 6:30 PM on October 27 as she shares her research on the history of the festival.
